Petronas Lubricants Brazil, the arm of Petronas, a Malaysian national oil company and sponsor of the Mercedes F1 team, took advantage of GP Brazil (November 11, 2018) to make an activation through the streets of São Paulo. Produced by Truckvan, the multinational’s personalized mobile unit was circulated for 16 days (27/10/11/11) with the aim of bringing fans of Formula 1 a virtual reality speed experience.
The idea of the company was to take the public inside the tracks and spread the sport through the use of technology. Those interested had an immersive F1 experience with information on the sport, drivers and state-of-the-art technology used in cars such as the Syntium lubricant developed by Petronas on the racetracks of the world’s premier motor racing category and available today for all vehicles.
