After the success of food trucks, many entrepreneurs and brands have opted for mobile units to offer differentiated services to the public, providing convenience and various facilities. Faced with this, Truckvan has developed many itinerant projects such as makeup salon, barber shop and delivered in April 2017 a “Tattoo Truck” for Tattoaria, the world’s first rotary tattoo studio.
“The main goal is to cherish the discovery of transforming the tattoo session into a unique and memorable experience, so our truck was thought to the smallest details. And that’s where the magic of this four-wheeled adventure comes in. Forget the idea that tattooing is to be done in a closed room and in secret. Tattoo Truck stands out for its totally unconventional environment “, says Rodrigo Bondioli, founder and partner of Tattoaria.
Customed on a 5.5-meter-long Iveco Vertis model 90V16 chassis, the mobile unit has a floor area of 13 m², equipped with two Robocop stretchers, microwaves and refrigerators to provide snacks and craft beers.
As in the headquarters, located in Moema, south of São Paulo, Tattoo Truck has no fixed tattoo artists. With each script, two renowned tattoo artists of national and international feedback will take turns to meet the audience of each city where the mobile studio will go. Included in the agenda are the Oktoberfest event in Blumenau (SC), as well as traveling through more than 10 states in Brazil and passing through Uruguay.
“There are no limits, the project is a cry of creative expression. We select places and events that connect people who inspire us, each with their creativity, authenticity and passion. We want to offer a cool and multicultural mobile unit as a way of maintaining the characteristic of the brand’s diversity, for those who want to make the most of every minute, whether it’s tattooing or just having fun. ”
