Founded on January 20, 1992 by Alcides Braga and Flavio Santilli, Truckvan is the Brazilian leader in the market of solutions on wheels, producing approximately 60 thousand aluminum baus and delivered nearly 900 mobile units for the health areas; training and professional training; events; services and; defense and security, in addition to having developed more than 80 food trucks. The company also customizes containers and acts in the area of solutions for data protection and Information Technology equipment.
The history of Truckvan began in a container in Vila Guilherme, north of São Paulo (SP), where it was only possible to reform aluminum trams and carts. “We were Flavio Santilli (Truckvan partner), an employee and I in the office and three other people in the workshop.At the end of the first year, we already had 15 employees in the workshop and another three in the office,” says Braga.
The partners faced difficulties at the beginning, even with the increase in sales. Until, in 1996, with the beginning of the stabilization derived from the Real Plan, many companies closed, which opened an opportunity for Truckvan to finally produce baus with its own technology and mobile units.
“We invest in that market of customized carts to perceive the need that companies had to have more mobility and practicality to develop their projects and meet the wishes of the population that lives in places where access is restricted to services, hospitals and schools. professional training, “says Santilli.
